Download fantastic classroom resources packs for YOU ARE AWESOME, DARE TO BE YOU and WHAT DO YOU THINK? to help you to bring the ideas to life in your classroom. The resources have been created by PiXL and comprise of a series of lessons, each written as a direct interpretation of the book.
The resources are free to download.
The sessions have been designed to support pupils either side of the KS2-KS3 transition in their development of Growth Mindset. With two parallel courses adapted for students in Years 5/6 and Years 7/8, teachers gain full access to:
a) Teacher Manual
b) Eight sessions – one per chapter, which include: lesson plan, PowerPoint, worksheet, reflective clip from Matthew Syed
c) Two assemblies (one to introduce the course; one to conclude the course)

Through the sessions, they will be exposed to the importance of learning from their failures, shown how success is entirely dependent on hard work and persistent determination and challenged to employ resilience in the face of obstacles on their educational journey.
The PiXL Change Makers project explores how students can be the creators of their own change and, as a result, change the world in which they live. Topics covered include embracing difference, silencing ‘Kid Doubt’, the importance of kindness and how to choose our own path. The resources include:
a) Guidance for teachers
b) Twelve interactive student sessions, featuring videos from Matthew Syed and other special guests, accompanied by print and digital workbooks

The resources are primarily aimed at KS2 pupils, but have also been adapted for KS4 students. These Post-16 Student Sessions are available to download from the student page.
